How to Install brandy software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

brandy software package provides BBC BASIC V interpreter, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install brandy 

brandy is installed in your system.

Make ensure the brandy package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep brandy *

You will get with brandy package name, version, architecture and description in a table
